Politics student Mhairi Black made history by becoming the youngest lawmaker since 1667. She said "I pledge to use this voice not just to improve Scotland, but to pursue progressive politics for the benefit of people across the UK." The election was one of the closest that Britain has had in years. It didn't take long for the election to create its own history. On her way to the top she knocked out one of the Labour Party's top figures. At least two news papers say it was a shock and polls taken before the election say that the race should have been closer. The election could be one that would reshape the county's global role for years. The final tally isn't in but, this is an election people should pay attention to.

Dinosaur Eggs Found by Construction Workers in a Chinese City
Heyuan city in Southern China calls itself the "Home of Dinosaurs" because it holds the Guinness of World for the most dinosaur eggs. Now they can add more to their collection. Construction workers unearthed 43 fossilized eggs. They were repairing the road and discovered some as wide as 5 inches. 19 of the eggs are fully intact. Researchers have been trying to figure out what type they are. Nearly 17,000 eggs have already been discovered. The first eggs were found by children playing in a construction site in 1996. Most of the eggs in their museum's collection are a type of oviarptorid and duck-billed dinosaurs. These types of dinosaurs roamed the earth 89 million years ago.

Boston bombing trial: Jurors set to begin diliberations
After weeks of testimonies in the Boston bombing trial the jurors are set to begin
deliberations Tuesday for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. He faces life in prison or the death penalty for working with his brother to explode bombs in the Boston bomb back in 2013. "The defendant thought that his values were more important than the people around him. He wanted to awake the mujaheddin, the holy warriors, so he chose Patriots Day, Marathon Monday" said assistant US attorney Aloke Chakravarty. Bomb survivors and victim's families were there through the whole thing comforting each other. Chakravarty also said "He chose a day when there would be civilians on the sidewalks and he targeted those civilians: men women and children." "He wanted to terrorize this county. He wanted to punish America for what it was doing to his people." The prosecutor showed a picture of Dzhokhar and his brother in the marathon crowd. The day of the bombing Chakravarty said "They felt they were soldiers. They were the mujaheddin and they were bringing their battle to Boston."

A US ambassador was slashed with a razor blade form a man in his 50s by the name on Kim which is a very common name but that is all the police released about the incident. Mark Lippert is the ambassador to South Korea and was attending a breakfast in Seoul. He is in stable condition at a local hospital recovering. The Seoul police said that Lippert was slashed in the right check and hand with the razor. The suspect was reported to be opposed of the joint South Korea US military drills that were lanced earlier this week. Spokeswomen Marie Harf said that the Ambassador was attacked when he was giving a speech. " We strongly condemn this act of violence. The ambassador is being treated at a local hospital. His injuries are not life threatening," she said. A witness said that the man who attacked Lippert came up behind him and pushed him on the table and started attacking him. Obama called to tell the ambassador that he and his wife are in his thoughts and prayers.

Ukraine Troops pull back
Ukraine armed forces have pulled out of a railroad hub that has been focused for its fighting with pro-Russians. These two sides have been fighting for a few weeks for control of Debaltseve. A truce apparently was established Sunday, with rising problems and concerns it is not left alone. With 10 long months of the conflict in eastern Ukraine has made the tensions with Russia even higher that has not been seen since the end of the Cold War. This has been effecting trade and Russia's expansion into eastern Europe. CNN reporter Nick Paton Walsh said that with the loss of Debaltseve was a big blow to the Ukrainian's government and a win for separatist militants. The president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Debaltseve was under their control and there was not any encirclement, the troops left in an organized and planned manner with heavy weaponry. Poroshenko also said to U.S and European Union leaders " a firm reaction from the world to Russia's brutal violation of the Minks agreement."
